What makes something stop-the-scroll interesting? Here is the WPin way of looking at it.
Would you send it to a friend?
That is a useful first test. A find should spark a specific thought: ‘You would love this’, ‘That is unexpectedly useful’ or ‘What on earth is going on here?’ If it does not provoke anything, there may not be much to say.
Look beyond the headline
A dramatic description is easy to write. Look for the actual object, the intended use and the details that explain why it is interesting. Clear information matters more than a string of superlatives.
Separate discovery from a review
Finding something interesting is not the same as having tested it. WPin is open about that distinction. If a product has only been discovered online, it should be presented as a find rather than a hands-on verdict.
Tell us what caught your eye
When you suggest a product, include a link and a short explanation. What makes it different? Who might enjoy it? That context is more useful than a sales pitch. A good story often starts with one clear reason to take another look.
Interesting things. Honest context. That’s the WPin way.
